New Rules

I really do love to get new comments and emails. Emails, if they get through to me, always get answered. For me part of the reward of giving away my photos is the personal contact with real people out there. The internet can be so impersonal sometimes.

Once in a while I have responded to comments, but never on my site.

One of my friends commented on my website that they often forget that there is a real person on the other end making this website, and when he looks at my site and knows it is me doing it, he has a different perspective about websites.

I have sent emails to other website owners, and either I have received no response, or was bombarded with advertisement, but on a few occasions I have had contact with some very interesting people. I rarely do it, because I guess I too do not expect a real person to respond.

So, I have decided to make a new rule for myself.

When I receive comments on my site, I will respond to them on my site.

Hopefully this will encourage other people to comment if they see that I am listening and will respond!
