Well I have been spending many hours tweaking my website, trying to get it just right. Of course that will never happen, a website is an endless project.
Just when you think you understand how everything works, the program you are working with is “updated”, so you have to start all over again getting familiar with new gizmos.
I have been really stressing over how long it takes my images to upload, so I have decided to go back and re-upload my images at a smaller size, which will help, I hope.
I started today with my flowers. Naturally I have to re-edit all of them, and drop a few that I don’t know what I was thinking when I added them the first time (or was it the 100th time?) I have lost track. But all my flowers are now upload at 1440 x whatever, some turned out a little smaller than that, but I think they all make fairly good wallpapers.
I am using one right now that I think is pretty cool:
Over the next few days or weeks I will be uploading resized images, and probably editing them all as I go along. I think I will really cut back on what I have on my site as far as number of images.
I have also been working on the formating of the pages. I have been so discouraged with not getting any interest in any of my sponsors, and realized I really didn’t have much choice for my visitors, so I have added new sponsors, and so far (1 day) it has actually picked up a little. (Hurray!).
So, If you are looking at a page and all of a sudden all of the images disappear, it’s just me working behind the scenes trying to make this a better site for you to enjoy.
My camera is on it’s way, should be here on Friday, which is tomorrow for me, but not sure if it is due Friday U.S. time, or if it will actually be here tomorrow. I may not get it until my Saturday, but at least it is on it’s way!!!!!
Well, time to get back to my images. Lets see, if I did my 102 flowers today, that only leaves about 2,300 more to go.
