Illuminating Dreamscapes – Scotty Beagle

Scotty Beagle is an artist living in Sacramento, California. He was born in Chino, California, and is the youngest of 7 children.

Scotty grew up with a passion for drawing and poetry. In high school he took the Best of Show at Redlands High.

When Scotty moved to Sacramento in 2003 he worked with local artist Dave Miller. Scotty drew up posters and post cards, and continued to pursue his love of art and poetry.

As an apprentice to Dave Miller, he learned the art of metal scratching. Over time he developed his skill as a master metal artist, and has sold several of his metal art works.

His poetry evolved into Slam Poetry, and he took first place three consecutive times in the Crest Theater Slam Poetry competitions. He continues to write his poetry and perform with his group The Slam Champions.

Scotty, a self taught oil painter, has sold many of his unique Illuminating Dreamscapes. His work has been displayed around Sacramento at various locations during Second Saturday Art Walks.
