The very first time someone asked if they could use one of my photos for their wallpaper I was thrilled! Up until then, I had no idea what a wallpaper was, I had no clue you could change your desktop image to what ever you wanted.
That request sparked an idea of what I could do with all of the digital images I was amassing on my computer. I struggled with trial and error learning how to create my first website. I offered my images to anyone interested in using them for their wallpaper. That was about 7 years ago. Since then I have built several new websites, each time trying to improve the quality of the site.
I humbly present to you my collection of digital photos intended for wallpapers. Since my collection is so large, I have tried to organize the images in a way you can easily find a subject you might be interested in. I have also uploaded the original size, generally 2560 x 1920, with a few variations.
I have chosen this size to provide larger screens with a quality image for their desktops. This size can be used for any size monitor as long as you have your display setting set to “stretch”. What this setting will do is automatically resize the image to fit your screen size.
Generally a wallpaper will fill your monitor background. However, I have found that sometimes I prefer to use a smaller image and have it centered on my desktop surrounded by black, but that is a personal preference. To try this, unselect “stretch” on your Display Settings, and use an image that is smaller then your screen resolution.
