I lived near Lake Tahoe for over 8 years. It wasn't until we had moved away and we came back to visit that it dawned on me to take pictures of the lake. So much for your own backyard.

My husband Frank loved water, so we visited many lakes and rivers on our journey. Water is so beautiful, so many different shades of blue.

We found a few waterfalls along the way. While we were in Yosemite it was too late in the year, and the opportunity to catch beautiful waterfalls was not there.
