A Dog's Life
I have been very busy with my site, moving things around, removing some things, but I haven’t written any stories for quite some time.
After a whirlwind couple of months, we are finally settled into our new house, we have made it though the traditional Thai Wedding of Sean and Pink, and life is almost back to normal.
Our new house is terrific, one of the best parts for me is the setting. We have a great yard for the dogs now, and they seem very happy in their new environment.

We have a lush tropical backyard that over looks a small stream. At least it is small now, we will see how big it gets through rainy season.
This is the view from my bedroom balcony. So peaceful and beautiful. One of the trees attracts butterflies, and you can usually sit and watch around 30-50 butterflies gracefully darting around the yard. |
Jake and Coco like to go down to the water to cool off and play. Jake is the more adventurous one, and likes to pretend he is swimming. Maybe after a little more rain he actually will be able to.
So life is good, as they say, every rose has it’s thorns though.
Jake and Coco have such a wonderful yard now, they are no longer allowed in the house. They seem to be fine with the arrangement, from Day 1 they never barked to get in, or scratched at the door to come in. I seem to be the only one having trouble with this.
I have always felt if I was going to have dogs, they would be part of my life, live with me in my house, never wanted outside dogs. Before we moved, they were my constant companions, sleeping at my feet while I pecked away at my computer. If I moved around the house, Jake would follow.
Guess I just have to adjust to my shadow being gone.
